Firefly Harbour Cat Themed Park
Firefly Harbour Cat Themed Park Highlights

As Chongqing’s trailblazing stray cat-themed destination, Firefly harbour (萤火虫港湾猫猫主题乐园) holds the prestigious title of China’s largest sanctuary of its kind. It shelters over 600 well-cared-for rescue cats, all vaccinated and neutered for optimal health.

Nestled along the scenic Yangtze River on Nanbin Road, this expansive 30,000+ square-meter park boasts a distinctive linear layout spanning north to south.

What truly sets it apart is its innovative design, masterfully utilizing the natural riverside slopes to create a breathtaking terraced structure with dramatic elevation changes.

Linked by impressive 3-meter landscape stairs, this layout is a vivid tribute to Chongqing’s iconic “mountain city” terrain. Operating under an open management model, the park employs scientific free-range care to foster a natural, safe environment for both cats and visitors.

More than just a sanctuary, Firefly Harbour offers a holistic experience combining stray cat rescue, immersive human-pet interactions, official adoption services, and relaxed waterfront dining—complete with coffee and light meals.

Dedicated to building a sustainable future for rescued strays, Firefly Harbour is the perfect day trip for families and animal lovers alike. It stands out as an exceptional venue to cultivate children’s empathy and love for wildlife.
