    However, don’t let this deter you—Chongqing still offers fantastic cycling spots! The University Town (Daxuecheng) is a cyclist’s haven.

    Here, you’ll find shared bikes similar to those in other Chinese cities, perfect for exploring this vibrant area. With dedicated cycling lanes, quieter streets, minimal traffic, and scenic parks with well-maintained paths, University Town is ideal for a leisurely ride.     Riverside Road

    Everyone biking through the trails in Chongqing are expected to follow some basic rules to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone:

    • Try stick to designateed cycling trails
    • Give way to podestrains
    • Pass with care and be courteous
    • Carry your garbages
    • Do not ride on motor-vehicle roads (if no designated biking lane, ride on podestrain walkways)
    • If using a public shared bike, please return them to the designated area and place the bike safely and responsibly
