- Walk towards this point

Things to Do

Hiking
Xulling Peak offers great hiking opportunities, recommended for medium to advanced level hikers.
The trail is quite steep and requires both hands and feet in some areas.
Wear sturdy shoes, and if you plan to descend after sunset, bring a headlamp as it gets darker in the forest.
Viewing
Enjoy a panoramic view of Chongqing’s city skyline from Nan’an. You can see Chaotianmen Bridge, Raffle City, and the two rivers all from Xuling peak.

Parking
You can park your car in the parking lot on the side of the street. Arrive early, especially on weekends, as parking may fill up quickly.
Alternatively, you can park at the paid parking lot.
Restroom
No restrooms along the hiking trail.
Accessibility
The Xuling Peak hiking trail is unpaved, windy, and steep. We do not recommend this hiking trail for people with mobility needs.
Restaurant
No restaurant, supplies, or vendors along the hiking trail.

Most sections of hiking trails have cellular service and generally provide good connections.
