Baguocheng Ecological Park
Baguocheng Ecological Park Highlights
Tucked inside the Ba People Museum, Baguocheng Ecological Park is a hidden gem that’s got something for everyone.
The name “Ba” comes from the ancient Ba State, a cool piece of history that fell to the Qing dynasty way back when.
This park is a total hotspot for local seniors who flock here every morning to practice Tai Chi, moving in perfect harmony as the sun rises. It’s honestly kinda inspiring to watch!
By evening, the park transforms into a runner’s paradise. The wide, flat, paved loop trail is perfect for a night jog—smooth as butter and surrounded by walls, so you don’t have to dodge scooters or cars. It feels super safe, even after dark, making it ideal for a chill night hike too. Just a heads-up: you’ll share the path with cyclists zooming by, so keep an eye out.
Oh, and this place is wheelchair-friendly, with a flat, concrete trail that’s easy to navigate for everyone. The whole vibe is relaxed yet lively, with locals enjoying the fresh air and open space.
